Once again...Fuck the police
People wonder why I'm so hard on the police, especially the NYPigD. Well, The NYPD Tapes: Inside Bed Stuy's 81st Precinct (Village Voice) is another prime example as to why I'll keep screaming FUCK THE POLICE. Having worked for the pigs for a little while I had to sit in on a few of their roll calls. I can remember hearing similar orders about getting quotas by any means necessary and arresting people in the neighborhood for bullshit being barked at the officers by their superiors.
There's also a shocking update on the case of 7 year old Aiyana Jones killed by Detroit police offices during a raid. It seems that there was a reality tv crew following the officers and captured the entire raid. According to the family's attorney the tape shows the opposite of what police are saying about there being a struggle between cops and the child's grandmother.
