Oh, Gloria...
I'm not a Nicki Minaj fan, but I don't knock her hustle. Right now, love it or hate it, she's on top. So what do you do when you're at the bottom and need that number 1 spot? You attack the HBIC. We know this and have seen it time and time again in hip hop but it's getting old. Seriously, at this point what can be said about Nicki Minaj that hasn't already been said? What really disappoints me about Gloria's stunt for attention is that she's going at a fellow female rapper instead of letting Nicki hang herself and crushing her based on skills alone. It's bad enough that we only have a handful of females in mainstream hip hop why do they have to take shots at each other?
Lezbhoooonest. NOBODY is checking for Gloria Velez, that's a fact. I feel like she's been "working on her music" since her Aaron Hall days, I've yet to hear anything relevant from her being played on the radio. Nicki on the other hand is all over the damn place. Say what you want but she must be doing something right. The fact that Gloria Velez OF ALL PEOPLE made a diss record about Nicki Minaj is pure comedy to me. The kind of funny but not funny comedy. *shrug*
Can't we all just...yeaaaaaaa.
