A Monthly Bondfire @ The Bowery (vid)
Last night I hit up A Monthly BondFire and as usual the show did not disappoint. Since I was working on that good ole fashioned CP time (FAIL) I missed the first half but I did manage to catch a few of the Mic Open acts as well as Raye6...yes she will get her own post in a sec.
I believe this was also the first time that I taped performances with my Flip Cam. I've had it for a few months now and have used it but never in a show setting. WIN! Not only is it handy as all hell but it takes really good video AND for the price that I paid (about $100) the audio quality is very impressive. Check out some of the vid that I took of the Mic Open performances and the live art.
At every Bondfire there is live art by Marthalicia but this show had 5 additional artists (Jorge, B-Boy Atomic, Cern, Mistah Metro & Ignite) doing their thing as well!
Besides the mic open @ Bondfire there is also the concert series. Last night's featured My Brother's Keeper and Raye6. Check her out performing "Chocolate Mahogany Poppy".
A Monthly Bondfire happens the last Tuesday of every month @ The Bowery in NYC. Hosted by Tasty Keish and The Bronx Uber Villain and always, ALWAYS starts on time. I won't be late next month lol.
