You're nobody, till somebody...requests that you remove their stuff from your blog.
I got this yesterday.

To Whom It May Concern;
We are the owner of the trademark Climb For A Cause, which we use, among other things, to promote out climbing and fund raising activities.
We have a United States federal trademark registration for the mark covering all of these, and other, products and services.
We understand that you are using the mark Climb For A Cause in connection with similar and overlapping goods services. Your use of this mark in this manner is likely to cause confusion among consumers as to the source of goods and services, and the possible relationship of your company with ours.
As such, your use of “Climb For A Cause" infringes our rights under the federal Lanham Act governing trade and service marks.
To protect the value and goodwill that we have built up in our trademark, we request that you stop using the Climb For A Cause mark immediately. Please contact us within ten (10) days of your receipt of this email to confirm that you will comply with this request.
If you have any questions concerning this letter, please call me at ***-***-****.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Dear Mr. Bobrow,
Your priorities are flawed. If I were selling something using your "trademark", posing as a representative of your organization or claiming to have produced any of the footage I posted...FROM YOUTUBE, I would understand your cause for concern but alas I am not. I was merely trying to help get the word out about your organization and its efforts because I honestly believe it is a good cause. Because I still do believe it is a good cause I will not speak ill of you or it and will take down all posts pertaining to your organization (and will NEVER speak of it again on any of my outlets).
PS: I hope this went out to the hundreds of other blogs and websites that "infringed your rights", used your trademark and possibly confused thousands "of consumers as to the source of goods and services..." Youtube also might not be the BEST media source to share videos about your organization because in the end...they will be SHARED.
Oh yeah, Thanks for stopping by! Check back in 10 days to see if I complied with your request...
Sincerely,
"To whom it may concern"
Out of ALL the things I post on here...smh...
