I'm making it my business to volunteer more this year.  Unfortunately I have to work on MLK Day (FAIL) but I urge everyone that can to go out and take part in this day of service.  You can go to http://www.mlkday.gov/ enter your zip code, find a worthy cause near you and help out.  There are tons of places throughout NYC that are accepting aid for the relief effort in Haiti and many of them are dedicating this day for events revolved around Haiti such as SEWING FOR HAITI in Brooklyn and HELP HAITI RELIEF in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.  Every little bit helps, so help.
