I finished up last month's book, A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, and it was an excellent read.  Frightening at times because it's all based on his actual life as a child soldier.  This wasn't some Hollywood director's portrayal of the mass killings in Sierra Leone this is his true story.  Emotional yes but I expected that, although I did feel a bit cheated by the ending...
Anyway it was a great book that I highly recommend.
