Nat Turner by Kyle Baker

This book was amazing. It's part comic, part documentary, all real and dramatically told through the eyes of how cartoonist Kyle Baker pictured the rampage of this man. It features excerpts from the book Confessions of Nat Turner and is accompanied by graphic visuals of the mayhem that was inflicted the night of August 21 1831.
If you don't know who Nat Turner is, do some homework. I knew of him and his story but like the author said people either see him as a hero or a murderous monster so back when I was in grade school there wasn't much info out on him besides that fact that he held a massive slave rebellion. Now there are hundreds of outlets with info on him and his story. This book was def a good, quick read (the majority of it is told through the images).
I didn't even realized that he was killed on this date in 1831. Wow.
oh yeah, Tiger's a fan...
