Cops searching for Jennifer Hudson's nephew Julian King find body of unidentified boy, 7

The desperate search for Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew ended Monday morning on a cold street across town from where the little boy was last seen alive.

Cops found a body believed to be that of 7-year-old Julian King inside the missing SUV of his murdered uncle, Jason Hudson, 29.

"This morning at approximately 7 o'clock, we received a call about a suspicious auto parked at 1313 S. Kolin," said Wayne Gulliford, deputy chief of West Side detectives for the Chicago police.

"Responding officers observed a white Chevy Suburban with license plate number X584859, and confirmed that this is the vehicle that was the subject of the Amber Alert, and the wanted vehicle.

"Further investigation revealed that a body was inside, but we can't identify the body pending the medical examiner's examination. The vehicle has been towed for further processing, and the investigation is ongoing."

As police dogs sniffed through weed-strewn vacant lots and alleys, neighbors said the sealed-off block of Kolin Ave. is usually a quiet oasis amid the gunshots and drug sales in the surrounding Lawndale neighborhood - which may have made it a tempting place to drop a missing vehicle.
