(Am I really that old) Coolio's Rules Reality Show

I really need to get a reality show because it seems like folk are just giving TV contracts away nowadays.
So the only real reason I'm posting this is because I saw the preview for Coolio's new reality show...on the Oxygen channel...over the weekend and my 16 year old step brother looked at me and asked with all the sincerity in the world "Who is Coolio?" AND WAS DEAD ASS SERIOUS.
WHAT!!! Either I'm getting old or I'm getting really damn old. When kids start asking me who Coolio is, that's when it gets scary. I had to backtrack.
He was born in 92 (wow, the fact that he was BORN in 1992 is ridiculous to me).
Fantastic Voyage, Dangerous Minds and Keanan and Kel (remember he did the theme song lol) was btw 1994 and 1995. So I guess this is a legitimate question seeing that he was all of 3 years old when Coolio was making the rounds. IDK, it just caught me off guard.
So this means that when the whole East Coast West Coast nonsense was going on, he was oblivious to it. When Pac died in 96 and BIG died in 97 he had no clue what was going on. He missed out on that entire era of music in the early 90's when it was ok to be different. When music was exciting, when people couldn't wait for their favorite artist's TAPE to be released, when music was grimy and raw and real, when music videos were being shot on the project roof, when the only videos you saw were on Video Music Box or The Box (for a small fee of course lol), when the Soul Train Music awards were actually worth watching. Before the TRL and 106 and Park days, before Itunes and the internet. Damn! He's always joking about how old I am, because to him I have 1 foot in the damn grave, but I'm glad I came up in the era that I did (but if I could do it all again I'd choose to come up in the 70's baby!!!!!!!!!)
