Lessons Learned (Randomness)

My grandmother told me two things that I'll never forget and have proven to be true.
1.  Actions speak louder than words.
2. When a person shows you who they are, believe them.

These are things that I've heard my whole life but I don't think I ever really believed them, or had to until now.  Number 1 is classic, but  it finally makes sense (which means that I had to learn it the hard way lol). You get to a certain point where words can't hold you anymore, or you don't have words to work on just actions, which end up speaking louder than anything a person can say.
2 is kinda hard.  Especially when you want to believe that people can change. When they say they have but do the same shit. I'm not saying that people can't change or that people don't make mistakes but if a person has been making the same mistakes over and over, it's not a mistake, it's them.  People can change but it's rare.  There are certain things in a person's character that can't be changed, it's who they are.  I learned a long time ago that you can't change a person so I never try.

Just my thoughts people.
