-other than that my weekend was GREAT.

-I played the ultimate tourist with my out of town bff Lisa (we did the NYC bus tour and everything lol) but I actually did learn a lot about the city. You know how it is when you see the 42 st lights everyday, work in the tall buildings, travel across the bridges daily; you take them for granted and forget that ppl travel from all over the world just to experience what we see everyday.  When you do take to the time to explore the city, you begin to see it in a new light.

It sounds cheesy but (NERD ALERT) I highly recommend ppl do one of those tours at least once , especially if you live in the city.  There's so much history in it in the streets and it's just fascinating.
