I love this dude, The Brick: Bodega Chronicles is on constant rotation. He's "the epitome of what a real emcee nigga should be". His situation is ass, here we have a raw ass emcee that has a great following, good buzz but can't catch a break. He was dropped from Aftermath and is now back at square 1 looking for a deal but honestly, I don't think I would like the "I just got a deal" Joel Ortiz. You know what happens when your fav underground artist gets signed, they loss that passion, the music changes, and they end up sounding like everybody else. I would love to think that wouldn't be the case with him, but idk. Either way right now, even without the almighty Dr. Dre in his corner he is doing his thing.
