My Alicia Keys/Ne-Yo/Jordin Sparks @ MSG experience

Once again shout out to my girl P for thinking of a sista!
AK-47 wrapped up her tour in her hometown @ the Garden last night. The concert was great!!!!! We missed Erika Rose and most of Jordin Sparks performances.  I'm not familiar with J. Sparks so I wasn't upset @ all.  I did however know this damn song...

Jordin Sparks-No Air (minus Christopher Breezy)

Next up was ya boy Ne-Yo who did a hell of a job, even though he showed our side NO LOVE AT ALL!!!!!!!!
I don't think I've ever seen Ne-Yo perform so I was looking forward to his set.  He sounded really good, almost too good.  Never once did he sound sketchy (not that I expected him to).  His backup dancers were on point and his band sounded amazing!!!!!!  I did get some vid of his band doing their thing but it's late I'm tired and youtube takes FOREVER to upload so I'll just add that in another post late on.

Highlights were his 1st song and 1 of my fav songs of the moment "Closer"

NE-YO CLOSER

It would only make sense that Fabolous would be there for YOU MAKE ME BETTER right?

NE-YO & FABOLOUS YOU MAKE ME BETTER

AND Rhianna came thorough for HATE THAT I LOVE YOU (with a banging ass dress)

NE-YO & RHIANNA HATE THAT I LOVE YOU

AK47!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen her live a bunch of times and she's been amazing every single one of them.  She has def grown performance wise.  She went from spending 90% of her stage time behind a piano to being all over the damn stage lol.  She is the definion of true talent.  She sounded great, her energy was there (how could it not be) and she looked fab.  AND it was her last show of the tour @ the Garden, what could be better?  She pulled a Kanye and had no guest appearances but we did spot a few celebs rocking out in the audience.  John Legend being 1 of them (I don't think he sat down the entire night).
I could go on and on about her (and you know this man) but it's late and I'm tired (did I say that already) so I'll let the vid's speak.

AK-47 I NEED YOU (my FAVORITE song on her new album)
ROTFLMAO @ our singing to this song...

AK-47 GHETTO STORY (This was her opening song)
Check her out.  Looking like she's at Friday night Flatbush bashment!!!!

Can we please have a moment of silence...
For the man that is Jermaine Paul. If you don't' know him, you will by next week lol.  He's Alicia's back up singer but he's also a solo artist and he used to be in a band with his brothers called Focus.  Very talented brother (and fine as all hell).  I did record his little solo performance while AK took a breather but alas it ended up on the cutting room floor (had to make room on the cam for the star).  Every time he opens his mouth I swear it's like a little piece of heaven falls from it lol.  I was trying to get the end of Diary when him and AK do their thing but they switched it up and did "Tender Love" which was purrrrrfect.

AK-47 Jermaine PAUL/ END OF DIARY/TENDER LOVE

I love this woman because of her passion for life and giving nature.  During her performance of "Prelude to a Kiss" she began talking about her organization Keep A Child Alive and asked that ppl send text mesgs to this number that was on the screens.  I think it was a 1 dollar donation for every  text that they received.  How fricking smart is that?  Do you know how many seats are in the Garden?  Now imagine her doing this at every single concert for this tour (the overseas tour as well).  Do you know how much money that is?????  Nice.

AK-47 NO ONE

Overall the show was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! But you already know that lol
