Some new sounds for you to chew on for this weekend. 

I've had this Billboard sample cd on my desk for the past month and the reason it's there is because the young & talented Esperanza Spalding is gracing the cover of the cd case.  She's a dope JAZZ musician without being too jazzy (if you know what I mean).  Sort of like a jazz musician for my generation.  Her sound is amazing! I heard about her in the beginning of the year and have been meaning to crack open that damn cd and give her stuff a good listen but I found something even better, a youtube performance clip!!! lmao.   Here is her performance from the Letterman show this week.
