Day of Civil Disobedience
It's going down tomorrow.
1 of the many planned protests against the Sean Bell verdict. Rev Al's main goal is to force officers to arrest innocent ppl (since they won't arrest officers who commit crimes) therefore tying up the NY's finest with hundreds of ridiculous arrests, unnecessary paperwork, traffic jams, you know shutting the city down like he promised.
For the massive pray-in, Rev Al Sharpton is asking protesters to gather Wednesday at 3 p.m. in at least six places around the city:
125th Street and Third Avenue
60th Street and Third Avenue
34th Street and Park Avenue
Varick and Houston streets
One Police Plaza and
House of the Lord Church on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.
