What happened to the news?
In NYC on channel 5 there is a morning news show called Good Day New York and everything about it pisses me off (except for the weather man Mike Woods with his sexy ass, he is excluded from this entire post). They do this segment called "Cool or Uncool" in which they go around and ask damn near the entire new room their opinion on certain events in the news. Why??? Who give a shit what the traffic man thinks about Hilary Clinton's campaign? I've been noticing this trend with news programs a lot. They are trying to make the news "fun" BUT NEWS IS NOT FUN, IT'S NEWS! It's meant to tell me what's going on in the world minus the reporters opinions. That's how the show used to be a few years back with the black lady and Jim Ryan. This why I love Eyewitness news on Ch. 7, they give you the news as it is without their pov. AND if they do slide in an opinion or two they do it in such a classy slick way they you don't even realize it's their opinion.
