3/15/08 NEW SHOW...WELL SORT OF...

So I had a tooth taken out (the wisdom is a bitch) and I can’t really talk so instead of doing an actual show I decided to blog a bit about things I would have talked about in the new show lol. I really wish I could do a show because I have a LOT to say about this whole governor situation (if you’ve been under a rock or live outside of the US check CNN or something to see what’s going on). In my opinion it’s not really that big of a deal. Yes he is the Governor, prostitution is illegal in NY so he did break the law, and he can’t be trusted but let’s be for real, how much can you expect from a dirty politician anyway? The whole thing is utterly hilarious in my book and here are a few reasons why:

1. The only reason he’s getting so much flack is because he’s the governor, if he were Joe the Banker from around the corner nobody would give 2 shits about who he’s screwing on the side. Okay it does show the people of NY that he’s shady, deceitful, a liar…wait a minute he sounds like EVERY OTHER POLITICIAN!!!! COME ON!!! I’ve said it a million times, politicians are liars ALL OF THEM and they can not be trusted. So are we really that shocked and disgusted that somebody in politics is being unfaithful? I’m not. But can we really call him a bad guy? Or a human being that made a stupid mistake (and got caught) who just so happens to be in charge of an entire state? Let’s be real if we were in the state of Nevada where prostitution is legal, can anybody (except his wife and family) really kick up dust? We put politicians and celebrities and those who are ridiculously wealthy on such high pedestals that when they do screw up we act like they are some sort of fallen angels. WHATEVER! Well, Governor Spitzer, welcome to the bad guys club, say hello everyone!

2. Okay so he spent up to $80,000 of our tax money on hookers over the past few years, but that’s nothing compared to the millions that we don’t know about lmao! Where do you really think our tax money is going? It’s damn sure not going to fixing up the BQE or NYC’s public schools. It’s going directly into investments of politicians everywhere (by investments I do mean their businesses, kid’s trust funds, and oh yeah let’s not forget the occasional $80,000 prostitute and whatever else they choose). That $80,000 is a drop in the bucket compared to the millions of dollars of embezzled money used by politicians over the past few decades. The world has officially gone to shit and for that I ask please Lord Deliver Us.

3. Since we’re on the subject of the cost of today’s hooker…$80,000!!!! WTF!!!! I’m definitely in the wrong profession because these broads are making money. That chick is 22 years old and probably has a bank account (if she’s smart) worth more than your last year’s salary. That’s a lot of money for some sex or whatever went down with the parties involved over the past few years. If this radio thing doesn’t work out TRUST I will be mailing in my application to my local neighborhood escort service because I have BIG dreams of making it. (Jokes lol)

4. Since we’re on the subject of ol' girl, only in this great land of America can you become a success off of a scandal. All of a sudden little miss nobody is the “it girl” of the moment. Radio stations are playing her wack ass song (YOU WILL NOT HERE THAT SHIT ON THIS SHOW), Playboy, Hustler and every other nudie magazine are throwing money at this chick to pose nude for them, and not to mention her clientele had to have sky rocked from all this attention. I know every man or woman with a fantasy and a couple of dollars is willing to pay big bucks to see if the governors whore is worth all the fuss so you know her cell phone must be ringing off the hook!
This country is soooooo damn backwards it’s disgusting…oh no I take that back because freedom is here lol. Regular people work hard for 40+ hours a week (at a job they probably despise) just to pay half of their earning in taxes while people like this chick sleep with the right government official and are set for life. The media blows it out of proportion (like they do everything) and inadvertently sends the wrong message to today’s impressionable youth. We tell kids that education is the key to success, so what do they do? They go into dept trying to achieve a higher education only to get into the real world and find out it’s about who you know or who you blow that gets you ahead.

5. And because everything is a conspiracy in my book, I believe this is all a big plot to get everyone’s mind off of what else…THE WAR! Yes ladies and gentlemen don’t sleep we are officially 5 YEARS deep into this worthless war and quickly approaching 4,000 dead soldiers on foreign soil. It’s so funny how this whole governor situation, the primary recounts, the “controversial” statements of Obama’s pastor, the “racist” comments of Geraldine Ferraro etc all flare up around this time. Chris Rock was right, it’s all a trick to get your mind off the war, but this time Bush stepped it up a notch. (I think Bush sent that prostitute to the Governor’s hotel lol).

Like my Nanny would say IT’S ROUGH OUT THERE! So rough that sometimes you just need to take a minute and slow it down, everything happens for a reason but sometimes you miss it and have to take a few steps back. I’ve been going hard for the past couple of months and it’s all starting to pay off (on both the professional tip & personal) so maybe this whole wisdom tooth thing was a way for the Lord to slow me down and give me a chance to rest and recuperate before I get super busy again.
